Hello and welcome to “Leaving the Valley”. We’re having a father-daughter talk about suicide. Why? Well, because suicide, unfortunately, is all too common. Which led us to ask the question, what if all knew a little more about suicide? What if it weren’t so hard to just talk about it? Join actor, writer, and optimist Kimi Buser-Clancy and her dad, psychologist and expert on suicide and its treatment, Dr. Sam Buser, as they help you understand what YOU should know about suicide. Our format is hopeful, informative, and sometimes even humorous.

By discussing suicide we’re hoping more people will get comfortable talking about mental health and listening to others when they say they need help.
