Ep. 003 : COVID-19 and Good Mental Health (Especially if You Are Suicidal)

Let’s face it the current situation stinks. Overnight, COVID-19 crashed our world: our health, economy, even our social relationships, and some of us have lost even more. We are all struggling to adjust.

However, especially in hard times, we must persist and adapt. Humans are the most adaptable creatures on Earth. We’ll offer some ways to reframe this challenge to help you look for the good that’s still happening. And if you’re just not there today- A) That’s okay. B) We’ll go over some ways to cope with the new normal.

In This Episode We'll Discuss

  • It’s okay to not be okay,
  • BUT there are still reasons for hope.
  • The importance of staying connected to others.
  • Coping strategies for your bad days.
  • Resources for groups more vulnerable to suicide.

We’re all in this together even while staying apart. Now is the right time to reach out to someone. Being socially isolated doesn’t mean you have to be socially distant.
